Is it worth $7?
For the price, yes. It does exactly what it says on the label. If you want the same sweetness with a little fizz and more freshness, Stella Rosa Moscato is worth the extra few dollars.

Very cold. Pour it over ice or blend it into sangria if you like.
The backstory
Barefoot started in the 1980s as a scrappy little brand run out of a laundry room, and Gallo bought it in 2005 and turned it into one of the biggest wine names in America. Its Moscato landed in 2008, right as Moscato was blowing up, and it helped make sweet white wine cool again. It's made from Muscat grapes, some of the most perfumed grapes there are, and the fermentation is stopped early so lots of natural grape sugar stays in, which is also why the alcohol is lower than most wines.
How it compares
- Barefoot Moscato vs Stella Rosa Moscato
Stella Rosa is lightly fizzy, fresher and even lower in alcohol for a few dollars more; Barefoot is still and cheaper.
- Barefoot Moscato vs Sutter Home White Zin
White Zin is pink, a little less sweet and more strawberry; pick Barefoot for peach and honey.
- Barefoot Moscato vs Riunite
Riunite is a sweet, fizzy red; pick it if you want berry flavors and bubbles instead of a still white.
