These terms cover the Moxie Vino app and website, run by Jakie Studios LLC. Using either means you accept them.

You need to be 21

Moxie Vino is about alcohol. You must be at least 21 years old to use it. Please drink responsibly, and never drive after drinking.

Subscriptions

• Moxie Vino is free to use with a limited number of scans each month.
• A subscription unlocks unlimited scans and the rest of the paid features. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time in your iPhone’s Settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under their policy, not by us.

The AI can be wrong

Moxie Vino uses AI to read labels and describe wines. It gets things wrong sometimes — a misidentified bottle, a tasting note that does not match, a price that has moved. Treat it as a knowledgeable friend rather than a reference work, and check anything that matters. Nothing in the app is health, dietary or medical advice.

Your content

Your photos and notes remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them so the app can do its job — reading a label, building your stash, generating pairings. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to upload.

Fair use

Do not abuse the service: no scraping, no reselling the output, no attempts to get around scan limits or break the app. We can suspend accounts that do.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and to the extent the law allows, Jakie Studios LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
